This evening's proposition:
The Censorship of Pornography Intended for Adults Cannot be Justified.
It is proposed by Ann Mallalieu. from the Society for the Defence of Literature and the Arts and opposed by Ronald Butt , Assistant Editor of the Sunday Times
Each advocate will call his witnesses, cross-question his opponent's and argue his case so that the jury may reach a verdict.
