Lifeline

on BBC One London

Cliff Michelmore and Debbie Thrower report on the latest charity news.
Sarah Kennedy appeals on behalf of the Leukaemia Care Society, which offers advice, information and emotional support to leukaemia victims and their families.
The society urgently needs funds to replace 14 holiday caravans that it runs at resorts around the coast of Britain within easy reach of hospital centres. These holidays are always fully booked because they are ideal for sufferers whose natural immunity to infections has been destroyed by chemotherapy treatment. Please give what you can.
