On 23 December 1787 Captain William Bligh and his crew set sail for Tahiti and the West Indies. After terrible storms and violent arguments aboard ship they reach their destination. But the pleasures of Tahiti prove too tempting for the crew and lead to a confrontation between Bligh and his deputy Fletcher Christian.
Mel Gibson leads a star cast in the most famous mutiny in naval history.
