For Pete's Sake

on BBC One London

F starring
Pete and 'Henry' are a struggling young couple in need of extra money. When Henry (short for Henrietta) has the not-too-bright idea of borrowing from a New York loan shark, things go disastrously wrong. To pay the debt, Henry resorts to dubious measures, later graduating to an underworld gang until she is finally 'sold' to a modem-day cattle rustler.
A lively comedy in the best 'screwball' tradition.
