The Cheltenham meeting is the jumping season's equivalent of Royal Ascot, and reaches its climax with the Gold Cup. Today is St Patrick's Day, and once again Irish punters, with their preference for racing over the jumps, have made a takeover bid for this genteel West Country spa.
Last year's winner Jodami remains favourite to become only the second horse since the legendary Arkle to win twice in a row: L'Escargot was the other.
Featuring races at 2.15,2.50 and, at 3.30 the Tote Cheltenham Gold Cup.
