J. B. Morton (Beachcomber) died on 11 May this year. This programme, originally heard last December, is a tribute to his great and hilarious memory.
Selected and presented by John Wells and Richard Ingrams and recorded at the Boeotian Hall by arrangement with Charlie Suet and the Huge Four Year Investment Programme. The Filthistan Trio, Mr Honey -weather Gooseboot, Mr Justice Cocklecarrot , a BBC man, and Mrs Vumper are in attendance.
