William Conrad stars as private investigator Frank Cannon, a big man who walks alone in a dangerous world

Cannon hands over a case he doesn't want to Harry Somers, one of his best friends. It is a routine investigation to find a missing daughter for an anxious mother. At least that's what Cannon thinks - until Harry is murdered. It seems he was too successful and found out too much.
