Composer of the Week: Medtner

In 1935, aftertrying his luck across the length and breadth of Europe and the USA, Medtner decided to move to England and remained there until his death. He'd always received a warm reception in Britain and had many friends who provided unstinting support to him and his wife through difficult times.
Donald Macleod introduces three works for his beloved piano including his third and last piano concerto.
