W. S. MORRISON , M.P.:
Introduction
This new series of' Sunday evening talks is in a way a sequel to the Fireside Talks which concluded on September 30. Even during the present generation the observance of Sunday has changed to a very great extent. Modern civilisa- tion demands all sorts of services on a Sunday which were not required in generations gone by. Among those contributing to the series will be a church-goer, a garage man, a highlander, a housewife, a farm servant, and a ' charming pagan '. In subsequent talks it is intended to bring two speakers to the microphone.
