Entr'acte in B flat
Symphony No. 2, in B flat played by the BBC Scottish Orchestra : conductor, Ian Whyte
Schubert's early symphonies were written when he was a schoolmaster in his father's school. They were intended for amateur performance and therefore are very simple and melodious.
The No. 2, in B flat, for instance, is for the most part written much in the style of Haydn and Mozart.
