Twelve Plays for Broadcasting IV-' KALEIDOSCOPE'

on National Programme Daventry

View in Radio Times

Kaleidoscope was first broadcast in September, 1928. It has an important place in the history of radio drama, for it marked the first attempt to exploit the full resources of multiple studio production technique. Selected pieces of prose and verse are superimposed on the dialogue, and music is used as an actual character. Good and evil influences are whirled round in a kaleidoscope of sound during the crises in a man's life.
