Opening a season of acclaimed films introduced by Barry Norman.
Tonight starring Cary Grant, Eva Marie Saint, James Mason

Advertising executive Roger Thornhill is kidnapped, in broad daylight, by a mysterious and ruthless espionage organisation.
Unable to convince them of his identity he narrowly escapes death in an automobile 'accident'. Faced with disbelief Thornhill tracks down the one man who can prove his story - only to find himself accused of his murder! Alfred Hitchcock's celebrated thriller is shown as a tribute to Cary Grant, who died in November.
