Prelude and Fugue in F minor Chorale Preludes:
Adorn thvself, dear soul Whither shall I fly?
When we are in deepest need
Come now. Saviour of the Gentiles Blessed Jesus, we are here
Fugue in E flat (St. Anne)
Of the Chorale Preludes, a group of which form the main section of this recital, Albert Schweitzer has given an apt definition. ' Nowhere,' he says, ' is the Durer-like character of Bach's musical style so evident as in these small chorale preludes.'
