on BBC One London

by Charles Dickens
Dramatised in thirteen parts by Hugh Leonard
The first episode of a new serial for BBC Television

The proud egotistical Mr. Dombey does not allow the death of his first wife in childbirth to overshadow his pride and joy at the birth of his son, Paul.
