2/3. Stuart Maconie profiles Oscar-winning composer, arranger and pop musician Anne Dudley, whose talent has elevated the recordings of Dollar, ABC, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Malcolm McLaren, though she is perhaps best known for her innovative work with pop experimentalists and sampling forerunners the Art of Noise.
The story continues with a look at Dudley's young chill-out following, her work with the BBC Concert Orchestra and her scores for television and film, including Buster, The Crying Game, Stephen Fry 's Bright Young Things and The Full Monty, for which she won an Academy Award. With input from Stephen Fry, Tom Jones, Trevor Horn, music writer Lucy O'Brien and Barry Wordsworth.
