Morecambe and Wise: Bring Me Sunshine

on BBC One London

Back In the 1970s, a television programme which frequently featured two adult men sharing a bed together would probably never have been screened.
Unless, of course, the two men happened to be Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise.
The second of three programmes celebrating their genius and enduring popularity concentrates on the strange "domestic life" this comedy double act lived out in their shows. Not only did they share a flat but were often shown sharing a bed, with Ernie penning his latest literary masterpiece and Eric nursing a cup of cocoa.
Presenter Ben Elton is joined by two modern-day comic couples, Hale and Pace and Fry and Laurie, who salute one of Britain's best-loved comic acts.
