Former funeral director Mickey King is now a successful pulp fiction writer working under a dozen pseudonyms and enjoying life in the sun of his Mediterranean home. But when he is approached by gangsterish executive Ben Dinuccio to be the ghost writer for a mysterious celebrity, he soon finds himself trapped in a sinister intrigue which could well be one of his own plots ...
