A Christmas Appeal

on BBC One London

by Alvar Lidell on behalf of the Wireless for the Blind Fund

The Fund relies entirely on this annual appeal to provide some 8,000 sets every year, for the newly blinded and as replacements. Today, each set costs £14. In comfort and companionship its value is incalculable.
Donations, preferably by crossed PO or cheque, to: Alvar Lidell, [address removed], or to any branch of the Midland or Clydesdale Banks.
