With the longer evenings setting in, now is a good time to think about craftwork you can do at home.
If you want to take up a craft, or need guidance to improve your skills, you can ring Laye Andrew , author of the Batsford Encyclopaedia of Crafts, who has advice to offer on a wide range of crafts - anything from needlecraft to macrame, mosaics, origami and stenciling.
