Some Great Footballers
Interviewed by ROBERT TREDINNICK
THE FOOTBALLERS to be interviewed are Billy Bassett , who played for England more than forty years ago and for West Bromwich Albion for several seasons, including 1888, when they won the Cup; and Tommy Glidden, captain of the Albion since 1930, including the 1931 Cup Final which they won.
Robert Tredinnick recently arranged a feature recalling Midland boxers of the past: later in the spring he is to interview two great cricketers.
