The Stand-Up Show Presents the BBC New Comedy Award 1998

Phill Jupitus hosts the grand final of this year's search for the UK's best new stand-up comedian. Recorded during August's Edinburgh Festival, the eight finalists perform in front of a live audience before the winner of £1,000 and a BBC Radio 4 commission is announced. The judges include comedians Jeff Green, Ricky Grover and Phil Kay.
