Omnibus: A Girl Like You

on BBC One London

Will the tastes of the 70s - in music, fashion and everyday familiar objects - be affected by the change in present-day relationships between young people? This is a film about three girls who either have a definite interest in or work in the arts. All are unmarried, under 25 and free to do as they like.
Through their conversations with their friends we see how personal preferences could be influenced.
The first girl is a Londoner - a freelance dancer who has appeared in several films including "The Boy Friend". The second, a Dutch girl from a remote fishing village in Holland, now living in Amsterdam and interested in experimental theatre. And the third from America - earning her living making flutes, and as a waitress.
