2: 1924. A vintage year, as Peter Warlock , John Ireland and Vaughan Williams rub shoulders with the likes of Satie, Szymanowski and Hindemith at the chamber music festival in Salzburg, while the Prague orchestral festival recognises Arnold Bax's Russian roots by twinning him with Stravinsky and Prokofiev.
