The South Pacific. November 1942, with the Japanese holding a vital part of a small island. Unless their radio transmitter can be silenced an American warship will be destroyed. Lt Lawson of the US Navy is assigned to a 15-man British force to destroy the Japanese base. Robert Aldrich repeats his great success with The Dirty Dozen in this exciting action film set at the height of World War II.
