Morning Performance

on BBC Radio 3

Today Tommy Pearson introduces performances by a wind band and by two amateur choirs.

The Birmingham Conservatoire Wind Orchestra under Guy Woolfenden were captured earlier this month at the Royal Northern College of Music International Wind Festival in Manchester.

Plus choral music from last year's Rotterdam Choral Symposium. The Dresden Chamber Choir perform motets from Johann Schein's Israelsbrunslein, and the Ave Sol Chamber Choir from Riga perform Songs of the Sea by Latvian composer Pauls Daubis.
