A Listen and Learn Series: Four Ways of Life

on Network Three

View in Radio Times

Spiritual beliefs and religious forms have determined the behaviour and relationships of nations and individuals.

This series sets out to give a simple explanation of the basic tenets of four religions whose members comprise a great part of the earth's population and whose influence on world affairs is today of incalculable importance - Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Each talk except this one is by a scholar not himself a member of the religion, with contributions by members of the religion.

2: Judaism by Dr. J. B. Segal, Reader in Aramaic and Syriac Language and Literature, School of Oriental and African Studies
Contributions by Rabbi Dr. I. Levy O.B.E., Jennifer Cronin
