Spiritual beliefs and religious forms have determined the behaviour and relationships of nations and individuals.
This series sets out to give a simple explanation of the basic tenets of four religions whose members comprise a great part of the earth's population and whose influence on world affairs is today of incalculable importance - Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism. Each talk except this one is by a scholar not himself a member of the religion, with contributions by members of the religion.
