Children's Hospital

on BBC One London

Every year, thousands of young patients are admitted to the Sheffield Children's Hospital. In ten programmes filmed over nine months, a BBC team recorded observed one of the most sensitive, emotive areas of medicine.
Some of the stories are dramatic, such as the emergency admission of five-month-old Gemma [text removed], suffering from meningitis.
But for other children, being at hospital is a way of life for example Eleven-year-old Lisa [text removed] knows the hospital better than many who work there.
