Africans and the New Zealanders have left very memorable pages in Rugby history. The Waratahs, as the team from New South Wales call themselves, bid fair to be nearly as notable a team. They include, also, two of the most popular personalities in post-war football-A. C. Wallace , their skipper, who was one of the famous Oxford three-quarter line that made Scotland such a force a few years ago, and A. T. Lawton , also of Oxford, as brilliant a standoff half as ever wore the Dark Blue. Major Tosswill will discuss the prospects for the tour.
