This fly-on-the-wall account paints a vivid picture of the curious collection of academics, clergymen and excellent women who gathered for the second Barbara Pym Literary Weekend, held at St Hilda's College, Oxford, in August this year. Making their way through the dinners, sherry and conference rooms, are Sioned Wiliam and Elizabeth Proud, producer and dramatiser of Barbara Pym 's Crampton Hodnet , A Glass of Blessings and the forthcoming Jane and Prudence.
