WAS THE REVOLUTION FRENCH ?

on Third Programme

by Maurice Hutt
Lecturer in Modern History in the University of Leeds
The question arises out of the recently published book by Professor R. R. Palmer of Princeton on the Age of the Democratic Revolution.
Mr. Hutt discusses the theory that the Revolution in France was only one aspect of an Atlantic Revolution including America and most of Europe.
