Songs of Praise

on BBC One London

from St Michael-le -Belfrey, York.
Songs of Praise comes from the lively parish church of St Michael-le-Belfrey, where Peter Gibson of the York Glaziers Trust is church warden. He led the craftsmen who recently restored the famous Rose Window in the Minster. Pam Rhodes also visits Martin House, where Lenore Hill is in charge of a team of people who care for very sick children and talks to Tina Pownall who has written one of the hymns in the programme.
0 worship the Lord (Was lebet); Breathe on me; I love you, Lord;
Jesus we enthrone you; Teach me my God and King (Sandys); In the presence of your people; And can it be (Sagina); From heaven you came; Rejoice!
