Wildtrack

on BBC One London

The latest news and information on our wildlife, with Su Ingle and Michael Jordan
The new Wildlife and Countryside Act will shortly give our bats greater protection than in any other country. Bats may not be killed, injured or trapped, and the Act will make it illegal even to move them out of your loft! But why should you want to move them anyway?
As mike says 'they're harmless, clean animals-they won't roost in dirty, cobwebbed lofts-and they need the warmth and security of our roof space to breed.
And su presents the first of our Kestrel Awards to two schools who have done outstanding work in helping wildlife.
