2/2. Frank Renton presents the second of two programmes of highlights from the fourth annual brass soloist competition, held recently before an invited Manchester audience. Accompanying the eight young semi-finalists are the Brighouse and Rastrick Band, conducted by Ian McElligott. The final takes place tomorrow and airs on Radio 2 on 23 February.
