Toc H began just fifty years ago when the Rev. ' Tubby ' Clayton opened Talbot House in Poperinge. Today, the influence of this Christian movement is felt in most forms of voluntary social service. In 1,500 places at home and overseas its men and women members face the current attitude of I'm all right. Jack ' with one which asks ' Are you all right, Jack? ' and gives cheerful, practical help wherever it is most needed.
