A play for broadcasting by Ursula Bloom
Almost wherever an English magazine may be bought, there also is the name of Ursula Bloom. She has been, and still is, one of the most prolific writers of her time.
Hundreds of newspaper articles, magazine articles, and short stories stand to her credit, and she has published over forty novels, the first of which, 'Tiger', saw the light of day when she was seven years old.
At the end of the last war Ursula Bloom found herself a widow with a young son to support, and with exactly thirty pounds capital. This she invested in a season ticket to Fleet Street, and innumerable fourpenny luncheons. The investment soon produced its reward. She has already had a number of radio plays produced, and yet another is on the stocks.
