Yesterday in a quiet ceremony at Guildhall,
Alderman Sir Greville Spratt became the 660th Lord Mayor of London. Today he celebrates among the crowds, with a two-mile procession through the streets of the City. In ancient times, much of the show was held on the river, and this year harks back to that tradition as the Lord Mayor progresses from Westminster in the Royal
Nore, to meet the Governor of the Tower of London.
After highlights of the river procession, BBC live cameras are at St Paul's Cathedral to cover the entire parade.
