An enthusiastic opera lover, his musical choices include excerpts from operas by Verdi, Mozart, Purcell, Rossini and Puccini, plus a vintage recording of Chopin's piano music and a motet by Byrd. He also pays tribute to his Welsh origins with some male-voice choral music from the Welsh valleys.
