Sunday Play: Arcadia

Tom Stoppard 's comedy of ideas was first performed at the Royal National Theatre in April last year. This radio production, first broadcast last Christmas, was described by the Financial Times as "the radio drama event of the decade".
In a room of a country house in Derbyshire in April 1809, sits Lady Thomasina Coverly and her tutor, Septimus Hodge. In the same room 180 years later an academic investigation is under way.
