Match of the Day Live: Chelsea v Newcastle United

on BBC One London

In what should turn out to be the tie of the FA Cup quarter-final matches, the Premiership champions take on the resurgent Magpies (kick-off 8.05).
These sides met in a dramatic fifth-round tie at St James' Park last season when Newcastle got the better of the encounter. Jose Mourinho 's side will be especially keen to progress after disappointment in the Champions League, while trophy-starved Newcastle fans are keen to see captain Alan Shearer win some silverware on 13 May before his retirement.
Presented by Gary Lineker, with commentary by John Motson and Mark Lawrenson. The week's final FA Cup clash sees Charlton Athletic take on Middlesbrough tomorrow on BBC2 at 8pm.
