Athletics
The first two of the 43 athletics gold medals will be claimed this evening in the men's shot and men's 20km walk, while
Britain's Eamonn Martin and Richard Nerurkar run for a place in the final of the men's 10,000m. Plus, a look at how Linford Christie (100m), Tom McKean (800m) and Yvonne Murray (3,000m) fared in this afternoon's heats.
Swimming
Action from the last of the finals, including British 1500m freestyler Ian Wilson 's attempt to better his fourth place in last year's world championships.
And, a look at the small-bore rifle final, where Britain's
Alister Allan could win gold. Plus, all the other news, from reporters Dougie Donnelly , Hazel Irvine, Ray Stubbs and Anna Walker.
