Tomorrow's World

on BBC One London

At Sandringham House in Norfolk, HRH the Prince of Wales meets this year's finalists in the Prince of Wales Award for Innovation.
Trying some of the new inventions the Prince test-drives the prototype of a British-built sports car, looks for microscopic life in Sandringham lake and discovers how to print on the surface of an egg. There's a review of the progress made by some of the finalists and winners through the 1980s - and the Prince of Wales presents a special award to the innovation judged the most successful of the decade.
