the wonder boy accordionist
Emilio, whose versatile accordion playing has become such a popular feature of broadcasting recently, is only eighteen years old. Both his father and grandfather were accordion players and the young Emilio stepped straight into the family tradition. At the age of twelve he was playing in his father's band, and four years later joined a small band in a Bournemouth cafe. From there he gave his first broadcast, and a short time ago joined the well-known combination, Troise and his Mandoliers. His broadcast this morning will be his first from a London studio.
