Does School Hurt?

on BBC One London

The seventh of ten case studies in multi-cultural education for discussion by teachers.
Many ethnic minority youngsters say they do not feel ' accepted ' on a fully equal basis in our society. How far do they see these feelings reinforced by their experience of school? A Moroccan girl, along with school-leavers of Asian and of Greek-Cypriot background, together with a West Indian exchange teacher, reflect on what changes would help schools give all youngsters a sense of belonging.
