When I Get to Heaven

on BBC One London

What happens to us after we die? Are we simply extinguished or do we survive? Is a 'spirit life' a credible idea? Do we receive signals or instructions that there is an after life? How would we view our present lives if it were possible to look back at them from beyond death? Or is heaven,
(with its threatening opposite number, hell) only a metaphor which concentrates our minds on the way we live now?
In the first of six programmes The Rt Rev Richard Holloway discusses with distinguished writer Jan Morris what she hopes for when she gets to heaven.
