Geoffrey Warnock , the philosopher, talks about JOHN RAWLS 'S new book A Theory of Justice which he considers the most important contribution to moral philosophy since the war. The book is an attempt to revive the traditional notion of a social contract as the basis of justice in opposition to the utilitarianism which the author sees as the dominant ethical theory of the last two centuries. followed by an Interlude
