Calum MacDonald presents a week of programmes exploring the common ground shared by two Spanish composers, Manuel de Falla (1876-1946) and Roberto Gerhard (1896-1970), born 100 years ago this month. Although a generation apart, they shared the same teacher - Felipe Pedrell - and both found inspiration in their rich cultural heritage.
