Accompanying her husband and young son to San Francisco for a few days, teacher Megan Lambert is pestered by single-minded lawyer Sean Farrell who believes she is his missing wife Jeanie. Despite the Lamberts' denials, Farrell pursues his claim with increasingly ruthless and violent determination.
