The top 16 soccer nations, Including West Germany, Brazil, Holland, Hungary, Italy and Scotland, are in Argentina for the start of the 1978 World Cup which opens on Thursday with West Germany, the holders, playing Poland in Buenos Aires. Scotland start their campaign next Saturday in Cordoba where they play Peru. The BBC Radio Sport team is joined in Argentina by former Scottish international Denis Law, following the news stories and talking to some of the personalities assembled for one of the greatest of all football occasions
