In a series of lectures, rock musicologist and part-time media studies tutor Brian Appleton attempts to assert his rightful place in the music history books. 2: Consider Yourself Dumped Upon. Brian performs the first progressive-rock song ever written, and reveals he inadvertently encouraged the Who to smash up their equipment and was instrumental in Phil Collins becoming the lead singer in Genesis.
