Monkeys Without Tails: 1: Man Has a Very Short Neck and No Tail

on BBC One London

A second chance to see the Annual Lectures to Young People at the Royal Institution, London by Dr John Napier

During the next few weeks Judy, a chimpanzee from Twycross Zoo, will help Dr Napier with his lectures, and in the first talk there is an explanation of why it is that human beings are the most intelligent of the primates.
There is very little difference between ourselves and the chimpanzees or gorillas. Like us they have no tails, and, zoologically speaking, they are our closest relatives.
